This is Bri's first year as Theatre Director at Vines High School, but she previously taught at Wilson Middle School for 3 years prior. She teaches Theatre 1, Theatre Productions 1, Theatre Productions 2, and Technical Theatre 1 and 2.
Ms. Wehman began her teaching career in the Galveston area, working at Lorraine Crosby Middle School in Hitchcock ISD for 2 years before relocating to Plano. Bri earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. While at TAMUCC, she focused on Acting, Directing & Movement. She was a part of the premier cast of 'Moliere in Love' in 2007, and competed in several Short Film festivals while in Corpus, receiving "Best Actress" and "Best Supporting Actress" awards at the Corpus Christi 7-Day Film Fest. She was also awarded an Irene Ryan Nomination for her performance as Sabina in "The Skin Of Our Teeth" in 2011.
When not at school, Bri is an avid reader, loves to garden and prioritizes travelling with her friends and family on those long breaks from school. She most recently performed with Dallas-based Pizza Chapel Theatre Company in their production of "Pan", and was an active in the Galveston Theatre scene when she lived on the island.
Bri is a native of the Houston-Galveston area, and spent most of her life living up and down the coast of Texas until she moved to Dallas in 2018. She lives in East Dallas currently with her fur-children, Juno & Cairo.
